Over that span of time she has been awarded Alabama Photographer of the Year; won numerous awards for her artistic portraiture, and was awarded the "National Award" by the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) for the state of Alabama. She is Certified by PPA and has also achieved her Master's Degree certification from PPA.
